The Catalyst Cap Intro ‘Alt Investing Funds’ is an all-strategies, alternative assets cap intro event. The event is investor driven and transactional in scope, hosting alpha producing investment managers and institutional grade investors for Catalyst’s uniquely styled cap intro event packed with presentations, structured meetings, and networking.
The event is headlined by talks from investors and thought leaders:

Marty Dolan, who talks on “Pivoting into running for political offices while being an investor and senior corporate advisor”. Marty is currently a candidate for New York City Public Advocate, and ran last year as a Congressional candidate for district NY-14, against AOC. He sits on the boards of several start ups, and has an illustrious career from investment banking and strategy consulting.
Ronen Schwartzman, who talks on “Emerging Managers versus Established Managers“. Ronen is the Founder & CEO of Ten Capital Advisors, a NYC based outsourced CIO firm. The firm advises its clients, ultra HNWI and FOs, on their financial investments with an emphasis on their alternative allocations. Ronen also acts as the CIO for the Cooper Family Office, a FL based SFO.
This is our fall cap intro event of 2025 which covers all the major alternative investment strategies. The event will discuss the current drivers and potential risks in the investing markets, and how this offers opportunities for savvy investment managers.
The agenda consists of lunch presentations by managers, followed by an afternoon full of private meeting sessions. The event concludes with a networking reception.
Participants are given access to a dedicated online Catalyst Event Portal, where the agenda, meetings schedule with contact info and participants list are available. The event is exclusive with around 30-40 participants in a controlled environment, with an approx 1:2 manager to investor ratio.
The introductions are arranged prior the events, in an investor driven fashion based on the merits of each investment manager and the fit to the attending investors. There are no service providers attending, only managers and investors.
Investors are pre-screened and pre-qualified prior the events, by completing a COIN (Catalyst Online Investor Network) questionnaire and additional vetting by Catalyst. Investors constitute predominantly single and multi-family offices, allocator intermediaries, and end-investors, located in the US but also internationally.
This event production builds on Catalyst’s history and successful track record in putting together industry-recognized and effective capital raising events.
