Mr. Berg is an accomplished alternative investments professional with extensive buy and sell-side experiences from London and New York.
Before founding Catalyst Financial Partners, he had several roles with hedge funds and allocators, including being an Associate Director in Corporate Finance at New Amsterdam Capital, a €3bn credit firm in London; being an Institutional Sales Director at T&T Capital, a New York City based vol arb fund; and being an Investment Advisor at LIB Ltd, a London based family office, arranging private equity investments in high growth tech companies.
He started out his career at Jefferies Putnam Lovell in their FIG M&A department. He was a Sergeant and Assault Boat Captain (Stridsbåt 90) in the Swedish Marines (Kustjägarkompaniet).
In addition, Mr Berg also runs Catalyst Fund Advisors, a third party marketing business, as well as Dual Bridge, a consultancy focusing on dual-use technologies for public-private sector partnerships.
He is a Registered Representative (Series 7, 63) with Creatis Capital LLC., a FINRA and SIPC registered broker/dealer. He speaks conversational German and fluent Swedish. He holds a BSc in Economics, and an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
