Catalyst Cap Intro Event

h

This is our Flagship Catalyst Cap Intro event of 2026 for alt investing funds. It is investor driven and transactional in scope, hosting alpha focused managers and institutional grade investors. The event follows Catalyst’s uniquely structured cap intro format with headline talks by influential investors, lunch presentations by managers, followed by an afternoon packed with pre-scheduled, private meetings. It concludes with a wine networking reception.

Headline talks by investors and thought leaders:

Adam Choppin, who talks on “Decoding Institutional Investors”.

Adam is currently an Assistant Portfolio Manager for multi-manager strategies at Xponance, where he is responsible for external manager selection and macro-economic strategy. Xponance is a $24bn Philadelphia-based asset manager, with about $7bn in external multi-manager strategies across public and private markets.

Sean Sanborn, who talks on “Building Alt Portfolios for Sophisticated Ultra-HNWs”.

Sean is currently a Director in UBS’ Chief Investment Office responsible for hedge fund research, portfolio construction, and strategy within the US Wealth Management division, with over $20bn in hedge fund exposure.

The event is exclusive with around 30-40 participants in a controlled environment, with an approx 1:2 manager to investor ratio. There are no service providers, only managers and investors.

Participants use the Catalyst Event Portal to access event info and to review investor and manager profiles. Meeting schedules are set prior the event by investors who select which managers they want to meet with.

Investors pre-qualify by joining COIN (Catalyst Online Investor Network). Investors constitute predominantly single and multi-family offices, allocator intermediaries, and end-investors, located in the US but also internationally.

This event production builds on Catalyst’s successful track record in putting together industry-recognized and effective capital raising events.
