The Investors
At our cap intro events in 2009-2011, over 60% of the investors attending were single or multi-family offices, and these had an average AUM of $1.8bn and $0.9bn respectively. About 15% of investors were larger pension funds and wealth managers with average AUM (in alternatives) of $19bn and $10bn respectively.
67% of the investors were based in the New York City area, 23% in rest of the US, and 10% internationally.
