Constance Hunter, Economist, Galtere
Constance L. Hunter is an Economist for Galtere Ltd., a registered investment advisor that manages in excess of $1 billion across several commodity‐focused products. Throughout her nearly sixteen‐year career, Ms. Hunter has honed her ability to pick a needle from the economic haystack of data, synthesizing information to identify turning points in a currency, stock, bond, or an entire market. Prior to joining Galtere, she was the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Member of Coronat Asset Management, a hedge fund that expressed macroeconomic views by taking equity positions capitalizing on those views. Prior to attending business school, he spent 4 years at Sanford C. Bernstein in their fixed income trading and research departments where he analyzed and helped manage various US dollar fixed income assets including corporate bonds, mortgages and treasuries. Mr. Jani is a frequently published author of various investment articles dealing with systematic and quantitative investment strategies and has studied Mandarin Chinese. |
Rodolfo E.C. Amoresano, Managing Member, Caerus Emerging Markets
Mr. Rodolfo E.C. Amoresano is the founding Principal of Caerus Management, LLC (“Caerus”), an investment management firm that he organized to specialize in emerging markets investments. Mr. Amoresano has accumulated over 25 years of experience in Emerging Markets, having invested and advised clients during all of the financial market cycles and crises since the mid-1980s. He has held a variety of financial positions that have provided him with extensive investment experience, and broad international contacts. He has managed up to $2 billion of investments in emerging markets including fixed income and equities.
Prior to forming Caerus, Mr. Amoresano spent a decade in the hedge fund community, following 15 years of international banking experience, developing contacts in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia. His most recent experience was at Greylock Capital Management in New York where he served on the pricing committee and in an advisory role from October 2007 until March 2008 and as portfolio manager from March 2008 through December, 2008. He previously served as Managing Director at Contrarian Capital Management in Greenwich, CT. (Sept. 2005-March 2007) where he focused on the emerging markets portfolio. He spent the prior six years as a principal of Frontier Investments in New York (June 1999-Sept. 2005), advising clients during the financial crises in Russia, Argentina and Brazil.
Mr. Amoresano’s international banking experience included three global banks: Nomura Holdings America in New York (1993-1999), serving as Portfolio Manager and Managing Director of the proprietary global emerging markets unit; Banco Santander in New York (1989-1993), serving as Vice President, Emerging Markets; and Manufacturers Hanover Trust (1983-1989), where he co-created the bank’s emerging markets trading, advisory and product initiative.

Michael O'Flynn, Managing Director, United Financial Group Asset Management
Michael O'Flynn is a Managing Director and Head of Business Development for UFG Asset Management. He is based in Boston, USA and is responsible for fundraising across all asset classes at UFG AM. He was most recently was employed as Director of Emerging Markets Equities at Deutsche Bank Securities in Boston and New York following the 2006 sale of UFG's investment bank to Deutsche Bank. Mr. O’Flynn rejoined UFG in April, 2009. He is an expert in Russian and Japanese financial markets.
From 2003-2005 Michael O’Flynn was a UFG partner and successfully built the investment bank's consistently top-rated Russian sales and trading franchise in America. Prior to that Mr. O'Flynn worked for Deutsche Bank in Tokyo from 1999-2002 as an institutional Japanese equity salesman after the firm redeployed him from Moscow following the 1998 Russian financial crisis.
Mr. O'Flynn interned for UFG in Moscow prior to earning his MBA during the fledgling firm's earliest days, from 1995-1996, specializing in Russian region local currency debt. Ann Lee , Adjunct Professor, New York University
Ann Lee is an adjunct professor of economics and finance at New York University and a former visiting professor at Peking University. She is an expert on financial derivatives, the global financial system, and China, particularly in China’s economy and economic initiatives. While she was teaching at Peking University, she also acted as an economic advisor to members of the CSRC, CBRC, CIC, and the Ministry of Finance as well as to several large Chinese asset management firms.
Ms. Lee was educated at U.C. Berkeley, Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs, and Harvard Business School. Sean Reynolds, Managing Director, Lazard Rathmore Fund
Sean Reynolds is a senior Portfolio Manager/Analyst on the Rathmore team specializing in convertible arbitrage and relative value strategies. Prior to joining the Firm in 2007, Sean was a portfolio manager for convertible arbitrage strategies at SAC Capital Management from April 2003 to August 2006 and, subsequent to this, senior portfolio manager at Sailfish Capital Partners’ G2 Multistrategy Fund. Previously he was a convertible arbitrage portfolio manager at the Clinton Group, Inc.
From 1997 to 2002, Sean was a managing director and Head of Convertibles Sales (U.S.) at Deutsche Bank Securities, including a period as an executive member of the North American Management Committee, Deutsche Bank Equities. Prior to 1997, Sean was responsible for global convertible securities sales at UBS Securities and domestic convertibles at Merrill Lynch.
He has been in the investment industry since 1993. Sean has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Math and BAI (BSc) in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. |

From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Libassi was a Senior Managing Director at GSC Group where he focused on sourcing, evaluating and executing distresses debt transactions. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Libassi was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Mitchell Hutchins, a subsidiary of PaineWebber Inc. where he was responsible for managing approximately $1.2 billion of high yield asset for Paine Webber Mutual Funds.
In 1998, Mr. Libassi developed and launcher the approximate $550 million Managed High Yield Plus Fund, a leveraged closed-end fund that was ranked number one by Lipper in its category in 1999. From 1986 to 1994, Mr. Libassi was a Vice-President and Portfolio Manager at Keystone Custodian Funds, Inc., with portfolio management responsibilities for three diverse institutional high yield accounts with $250 million in assets.

Wayne Crane, EVP - Asset Acquisition, Summit Alternative Investments
Mr. Crane is a graduate of Indiana University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He continued his studies at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. After a short career as the Regional Operations Manager with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Washington and Indianapolis, he left to take a position as a Vice President with Bank One Corporation in their Commercial Lending Department.
Swayed by a large bank customer, he went to work for Carmel Financial Corporation, a nationwide niche market third party financial services organization, and rose to the rank of President of the company’s sales and marketing divisions. Subsequently he went to work as a Senior Executive with Sterling Financial Corporation, part of the Sterling Bank Holding family, a New York Stock Exchange listed company (NYSE:STL) and a nationwide player in the rediscount lending arena issuing lines of credit to finance companies.
Presently, he is the EVP of Asset Acquisition for Summit Alternative Investments, LLC, where his primary responsibilities include the strategic direction and sourcing of the consumer receivables investments made by the Fund. Mr. Crane’s extensive background in the financial services industry and experience in working with large institutional lenders places him in an opportunistic position to source and analyze consumer receivable portfolios to the benefit of Summit Alternative Investments, LLC. |

Sa'ad Shah, Managing Director, Diversified Global Asset Management
Sa’ad Shah is a Managing Director for Diversified Global Asset Management, and leads the firms business development and strategic partnership initiatives.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shah worked at RBC Capital Markets where he most recently led the Financial Engineering Deal Team that specifically sought to identify, structure and execute the FX risks inherent in cross border Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Shah’s responsibilities also included the sales and marketing of sophisticated financial products and solutions to corporations and financial institutions. In eight years with RBC he also has experience in syndicated finance and real estate markets. Mr. Shah holds a B.A. (Hons) in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.

Don Steinbrugge, Managing Partner , Agecroft Partners / Investment Committee
Don Steinbrugge's achievements over his 25 year career in institutional investment management sales include serving as the head of sales for one of the world's largest hedge funds, Andor Capital Management, and institutional investment management firms, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
Prior to his stint at Pequot, Don was a Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Don joined Merrill Lynch through the acquisition of Hotchkis and Wiley where he headed up sales and marketing. Previously, Don was Global Head of Institutional Sales for NationsBank (now Bank of America Capital Management). Don began his career in 1984 with The Travelers selling investment management to large institutional investors.
Don is a member of the Investment Committee for The City of Richmond Retirement System, the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens Endowment Fund and The Science Museum of Virginia Endowment Fund.
